Welcome to PetPrints (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or purchasing from our website (the “Site”), you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Overview

This website is operated by PetPrints. Throughout the site, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to PetPrints.
By visiting our site or placing an order, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors and customers, including browsers, vendors, merchants and contributors of content.

2. Online Store Terms

By using our site, you confirm that:
  • You are at least 18 years old (or have permission from a parent/guardian).
  • You will not use our products or services for any unlawful or unauthorised purpose.
A breach of these Terms may result in termination of your access to our services.

3. Accuracy of Information

We make every effort to display accurate product information, colours, sizes and images.
However, we cannot guarantee that your devices display will accurately represent 
colours or printing results.
Custom artwork is created based on the photo(s) you provide. Please ensure photos are clear, high quality, and accurately represent your pet.
Packaging, wrapping, inserts, and presentation may vary between orders, promotional collaborations, and social media content.

4. Products & Services

Custom Artwork

  • All custom portraits are designed from the photo(s) you supply.
  • Each artwork is created to match the selected style and will have minor artistic variations.
  • We offer one preview mock-up of your portrait for review and approval before finalisation.
  • Minor revisions may be included at our discretion, depending on the request.

Physical Products (Prints & Merchandise)

Physical items such as prints, canvases, mugs or apparel may be fulfilled through third-party print partners.
Turnaround times and delivery estimates may vary.

5. Ordering & Payments

All prices are shown in NZD unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to:
  • Refuse any order
  • Limit quantities
  • Update prices
  • Correct errors in pricing or product information
Payments must be completed through the accepted methods shown at checkout.

6. Shipping & Delivery

Shipping times vary depending on destination and order type (digital vs physical).
Once an order is dispatched, delivery times are outside our control.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.

7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

Because our products are custom-made, we do not offer refunds or returns for:
  • Change of mind
  • Incorrect photo submissions
  • Incorrect details provided during checkout
If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us at hello@petprints.co.nz within 7 days so we can assist.
For physical products fulfilled by third-party print partners, replacements will be handled according to their policies.

8. Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, images, logos and content on this site are the property of PetPrints.
You may not:
  • Reproduce
  • Distribute
  • Modify
  • Resell
  • Claim ownership of any content or artwork from our website
You may not use your custom artwork for commercial purposes unless explicitly approved by us in writing.

9. User Photos & Permissions

By submitting photos to PetPrints, you confirm that you:
  • Own the rights to the photos OR have permission to use them
  • Allow us to create artwork based on the photos
  • Grant us non-exclusive permission to display your finished artwork in marketing materials (unless you opt out)
You may request your artwork not be used publicly by emailing us at hello@petprints.co.nz.

10. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our site or services for:
  • Fraudulent or illegal activities
  • Uploading harmful or malicious files
  • Harassment or abuse
  • Violation of copyright laws
  • Attempting to disrupt or bypass security features

11. Optional Tools & Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services such as print providers, shipping carriers, payment processors, and analytics tools.
We are not responsible for the content or actions of these providers.

12. Changes to the Service or Prices

We reserve the right to update, discontinue, or change our products, services, or pricing at any time.

13. Limitation of Liability

PetPrints is not responsible for:
  • Delays in shipping
  • Third-party errors
  • Losses resulting from misuse of our products
  • Damage caused after delivery
Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for your order.

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page, and continued use of our website implies acceptance of any changes.
